HEALTH - FOR YOU & YOUR FAMILY   Head Start requires annual physicals and up to date immunizations for all children.  We assist by helping families apply for Medicaid, MiChild, Healthy Kids, and by offering to help with payment if necessary.  Dental exams are also a requirement for Head Start annually but we encourage following the recommended schedule of 6 month exams.  If necessary, dental clinics, Mobile Dentist, and field trips to the dentist help children meet this requirement.  A nutritionist is available to families, if needed, who will help the family with creative well balanced meal ideas.
